Yes, Squishmallows are washable. They should be washed as they get dirty very quickly. However, specific washing protocols should be kept in mind while cleaning Squishmallows. 

Below is a detailed guide to washing squishmallows without deforming their shape and structure. 

1. The first step is always to read the washing instructions on the squishmallows. Most of the instructions entail not washing the product in washing machines. The reason is that it can deform its shape. Some instructions also mention that squishmallows should not be fully submerged in water. Once you know what methods not to use, you can safely move to techniques that can be used for cleaning.

2. The second step is spot cleaning. Take a damp cloth and dip it in a mild detergent. Make sure to use a fabric-friendly detergent. Clean the required area on the squishmallow utilizing the wet piece of fabric. The water or the damp cloth should always be cold. Never use hot or boiling water to clean squishmallow. You can also use a stain remover to remove any dark stains. But make sure to do a spot test before you use the stain remover all over your squishmallow. 

3. The third step is to let the squishmallow air dry. Please don't throw it in a dryer or use any heating to dry the squishmallow. If you want to dry your squishmallow quickly, you can cover it in a clean pillowcase and put it in the dryer (keep the setting low and gentle!).  

4. The fourth step is to be done only once every four or five months. If your squishmallow washing instructions do not exclude washing squishmallows in washing machines, you should go for it. Wrap your squishmallow in a clean and compact pillowcase. Put it in the washing machine with cold water and mild detergent. Keep the setting low and gentle so the shape of your squishmallow stays intact. Dry it as explained in step three.
